This petite server has been painted and waxed giving it a very authentic aged appearance. The layers of color and dark wax are even more beautiful in person. The original hardware was cleaned and polished and then given a little extra shine with some gold gilding wax. This piece is quite sophisticated and refined while at the same time fun and bold. As with all of my vintage finds, before I began its transformation I made sure it was of solid construction and thoroughly cleaned inside and out .
